Control Freak: Youth Respectful Relationships Education Program

A free theatre incursion for Years 9 to 12 about controlling behaviours and relationship violence.
After the short theatre performance of ‘Control Freak’, the Youth Choices team facilitate discussions about coercive control and utilise the participatory approach of internationally-recognised Forum Theatre to allow students to act out scenarios from the play to develop solutions in a safe environment. 
Running Time: 90 minutes including student interactive participation

Would You: Understanding consent in relationships

A free multimedia incursion for secondary students about consent between friends, family members, romantic partners and more.

Reviewed by the Department of Education, the short film ‘Would You’ was based on real experiences of high school students negotiating everyday consent.
After watching the short film, Youth Choices team facilitate discussions about consent, and utilise the participatory approach of Forum Theatre to allow students to act out scenarios from the film to develop solutions in a safe environment.

eSafeKids

eSafeKids is a non-profit organisation that educates, equips and empowers children and young people to have safe and positive experiences support and inspire parents, carers, educators and other professionals to talk with children about Protective Behaviours, body safety, esafety, digital wellness and pornography.
