Would You: Understanding consent in relationships

A free multimedia incursion for secondary students about consent between friends, family members, romantic partners and more.

Reviewed by the Department of Education, the short film ‘Would You’ was based on real experiences of high school students negotiating everyday consent.
After watching the short film, Youth Choices team facilitate discussions about consent, and utilise the participatory approach of Forum Theatre to allow students to act out scenarios from the film to develop solutions in a safe environment.

eSafety Commissioner: Guide to responding to image-based abuse involving AI deepfake

This guide provides support and advice to Australian schools to respond confidently and effectively to image-based abuse that involves AI deepfakes. Visit eSafety's web page on what you can report for a definition of what constitutes image-based abuse, including the use of deepfakes. This guide should be read alongside safeguarding and child protection legislation, policies and procedures relevant to your school and/or education sector.
