Speaking out

Purpose

  • refine the skills of active listening, assertive communication and negotiation

  • analysing situations where two or more people are communicating

  • determine ways to effectively communicate individual needs, preferences or beliefs without causing conflict

  • to deveop basic negotiating skills which helps students to have respectful relationships, avoid peer pressure and make safer and healthier choices.
