Questions about using the GDHR site

How does the search function work?

Content in this site is created and organised with the intent 'it will be found' using both navigation and search functionality. By using key word search terms or known titles a search result will show display a two column display.

At right there will be a list of hyperlinked titles, including an abstract or brief content description.

At left there are results organised by content type, document type and school (year level). These results will also show how many items (shown as a solid blue box with a number) there are that match this result.  Users can then select the matching result they wish to view and the search results will filter again.

Do the learning activities follow a scope and sequence?

The learning activities have been developed in alignment with the Western Australian curriculum.

The GDHR learning activities are organised and cross-referenced in year groups (K-10) and topics. These are aligned to the Health and Physical Education Scope and Sequence from the School Curriculum Authority and Standards

How often will the site be updated?

GDHR will be regularly reviewed and updated with new content. Watch the home page carousel for showcase updates as they occur.

What does the phrase 'real time learning activities' mean?

This refers to the dynamic aspect of this site. Instead of accessing 'static' desktop published versions of a learning activity, the GDHR site provides links to download learning activities as accessible PDF and Word versions with all published and updated changes applied; in 'real time'. A date published field will print on the downloaded copy, providing you with an easy way to compare and manage versions you may be using.
