SECCA (Sexuality, Education, Counselling and Consultancy Agency) is a non-profit organisation that supports people with disability to learn about relationships, sexuality and sexual health across the lifespan. SECCA supports people across the disability sector, and in mainstream services. SECCA provides a range of services, including:

  • specialist counselling and education for individuals, family members and significant carers

  • consultancy services, including for teachers of people with disability

  • a range of unique, mostly free, resources to help people of all abilities learn and teach about relationships, sexuality, health and rights

  • range of education services for carers, families, teachers and professionals

SECCA's speciality workshops help family and carers, teachers and professionals, to feel more confident helping those they support with their sexuality and relationships.

Workshops, presentations and training range in length and cost (most low cost or free) and are offered regularly. Custom workshops are also available. 

Topics include:

  • sexuality and disability

  • boundary setting and protective behaviours

  • puberty and adolescence

  • relationships education

Location

SECCA is based in Perth. SECCA can provide education and training services to metropolitan, regional and remote areas across Western Australia (cost and availability varies).
