The Association of Independent Schools of WA (AISWA) advises that they do not have general policies about health education but that each individual school will have their own policy on a range of sexual health education areas.
Teachers in independent schools will therefore need to obtain answers to questions they may have about school policies and protocols about the teaching of sexual health education, from within their own school administration. For example such aspects as the need and requirements for parent consent.
