Healthy Relationships and Sexual Health

Context: Wellness

  • Dating 101

    This activity is designed to increase awareness of gender differences and assumptions in regards to romantic relationships.

  • Relationships

    The following activities are designed to develop an understanding of healthy relationships using fun interactive games.

  • Coercion or consent - what’s the difference?

    The following activities are designed to develop understanding about coercion and consent with an emphasis on respectful relationships. Before conducting this activity teachers must be very aware of the issue of disclosure and be prepared to protectively interrupt should the need arise.

Context: Growth and Development/Sexual Health

  • Condoms

    The following activities are designed to increase knowledge and understanding of condom use. It is recommended that that topics such as STIs (Activity 3.8), BBVs, contraceptive methods (Activity 3.9), and communication (Activity 3.4) are addressed prior to this lesson. Note: This activity focuses on using condoms to protect against sexually transmissible infections (STIs). Other methods of contraception are discussed in more detail in other activities.
